Yes! The bike you try is a 100% street-ready Harley-Davidson® motorcycle, which means you'll get a feel for riding on a motorcycle you could actually purchase today at one of our dealerships!  

Is This A Training Program?

No. It is an introduction to the experience of riding a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle, but not a comprehensive riding course as we offer through our Riding Academy. You'll get a great idea of what it is like to sit on and maneuver a motorcycle, but you won't get any actual experience with riding on the street. 

Is JUMPSTART™ Safe?

Yes. The bike is securely fastened to the JUMPSTART™ platform and there is no danger of tipping or damaging the bike! You'll be able to attempt small maneuvers, gear shifting, and more, without any risk of falling or tipping over! 

Do I Need Any Special Riding Gear?

A good solid pair of shoes is the only gear you should bring. Anything else can be provided at the dealership when you start the JUMPSTART™ riding experience. If you'd like to test a helmet, riding pants, or jacket, feel free to bring those down to your JUMPSTART™ session as well!
