Service Your UTV

Before you leave on your hunting trip, put your UTV through the same maintenance checks you would before any ride. Start by looking at your tires. They should be in good condition and inflated to within the manufacturer recommended range. Look at the coolant, oil, and other fluid levels so that you can top them off if necessary. Don’t forget to check out the braking and suspension system! By taking care of your UTV, you can ensure that it doesn't break down mid-hunt and doesn’t create excessive noise that scares off your quarry. 

Carry the Right Gear

Certain accessories can help you customize your UTV to be better suited to hunting. For example, a mounted rifle scabbard will keep your gun safe and secure while not in use. Winches are another popular accessory for hunters. They can be used to haul large kills to where they can be more easily processed. Finally, a built-in GPS unit will help ensure that you don’t get lost no matter how far into the brush you roam.
